Group Short Term Disability

Group short term disability provides benefits to eligible employees who are injured or sick and unable to work.  It provides an employee with some benefits while they’re out on disability. The typical length for short term disability is 3-6 months.

Group Long Term Disability

If the group short time disability insurance expires and an employee is still injured, group long term disability kicks in.  An employee receives a percentage of their salary while they’re out on long term disability. Individual Long Term Disability.
